Screenshots
The Screenshots tab shows your current store screenshots and lets you upload new ones straight from CMS Media.
Live gallery (Apple)
For Apple apps, Previews & Screenshots shows the editor version’s current assets, live from App Store Connect, grouped by device display type (for example iPhone 6.7”, iPad Pro 12.9”, Mac, Apple TV, Apple Vision Pro) with a count per group. If the app has multiple locales, a locale selector lets you switch between them. The gallery is read-only — screenshots still processing show their state in a placeholder.
Google apps don’t have a live gallery section.
Upload a screenshot
Expand Upload a screenshot from CMS Media and fill in the Attach screenshot form:
| Field | Notes |
|---|---|
| Image | Pick an image from CMS Media. A thumbnail preview appears below the selector. |
| Device | The display type to upload to. Apple options follow what App Store Connect reports for the current editor version; Google options are Phone, 7” / 10” tablet, TV, Wear, Feature graphic, Icon, TV banner. |
| Locales | One or more locales to attach the screenshot to. |
| Position | Read-only — Athena appends the new screenshot to the end of that device’s set automatically. |
Click Attach + Upload. Athena reads the bytes from CMS Media, hashes them, and proxies them to Apple / Google; the device’s screenshot set is created per locale automatically. You’ll see “Uploaded to N locale(s)”.
Upload status
Screenshots you’ve attached through Athena appear in a status list. Each shows its device type and position, the source media asset, and a per-locale state — committed, uploading, or failed (with the error and the remote id). Use Delete to remove a screenshot; you’ll see “Screenshot removed”.
