Sync & manage apps

Once a credential is connected, add the apps you want to manage. Apple apps are synced from the connected key; Google apps are imported from Play Console.

Sync apps from Apple

Use the Sync button on the Apps tab. The dropdown lists one entry per Apple credential — choose Sync <label> to pull every app that key can see. You’ll see “Synced N app(s) from <label>”.

After you add a new Apple credential, Athena syncs it for you automatically and shows a “Pulling your apps…” state while it works.

Import apps from Google Play

Open the importer from Sync → Sync from Play Console, the Import from Play Console button on the empty state, or automatically right after connecting a Google account.

The Sync apps from Play Console dialog lists every app the credential can see via Google’s Play Developer Reporting API. For each app you can:

  • Register a single app — Athena validates the package name before saving and shows “Registered <app>”.
  • Register all (N) — registers every unregistered app in the background. A progress pill appears in the corner; on completion you get “Registered N Play app(s)” (or a summary if some failed).

Use Refresh to re-list, and the Credential selector to switch between Google accounts.

The apps list

With apps registered, the Apps tab shows them with a per-provider count (N Apple · N Google Play). You can:

  • Search apps by name.
  • Filter by platform (shown when you have both Apple and Google apps).

Each row links to the app’s detail page and shows its name, provider, bundle id / package name, and when it was last synced.

App overview & disconnect

Open an app to land on its Overview tab:

  • Identity — platform, name, bundle id / package name, primary locale, SKU, external id, last synced, and the credential it belongs to.
  • Capabilities — the editable metadata fields (with character limits) and the feature flags for that provider.

The Actions card offers:

  • Refresh from Apple (Apple apps) — re-pulls the latest from App Store Connect.
  • Disconnect — removes the app from Athena after a confirmation. Your local metadata drafts are discarded; the live listing on App Store Connect / Play Console is not affected.
