Stores Overview

The Stores area lets you manage your published mobile app listings on Apple App Store Connect and Google Play without leaving the Athena dashboard. Connect your store credentials once, pull in your apps, and edit metadata, screenshots, versions, testing, and releases from a single place.

Where to find it: the Stores entry in the workspace navigation (/stores).

The Stores landing page has two tabs:

  • Apps — your registered apps, plus the controls to sync (Apple) or import (Google) more.
  • Credentials — the encrypted vault of store credentials for the workspace.

Access & roles

ActionRequired role
Open the Stores area, view apps, read listingsAny workspace role except guest
Connect or delete credentials, register apps, edit metadata, upload screenshots, manage versions/builds, TestFlight, releases, Play editsAdmin or Owner

Guests are redirected to the dashboard. A member who can view a listing may still get a permission error when attempting a management action — those require an admin or owner.

How it fits together

Credential ──▶ App ──▶ Per-app tabs
(.p8 / OAuth) (synced (metadata, screenshots,
or imported) builds, releases, …)
  1. Connect a store — add an Apple App Store Connect API key (.p8) or sign in to Google Play. See Connect a store.
  2. Add your apps — sync apps from Apple, or import them from Play Console. See Sync & manage apps.
  3. Manage a listing — open an app to reach its per-app tabs.

What each provider exposes

The tabs available on an app depend on its provider. Athena renders only the tabs that provider actually supports.
